A cherished childhood memory: a simple dish, quick, satisfying, and something you can dress up or down, like a good linen pant.
Wednesdays, when I was little, in northern Italy, were made for carrot salad and meat tartare. I know it sounds fancy, but it was a simple dish we would eat every week, whether with my mom or my maternal grandparents.
